“Temp. Space” is the second DJ-Mix-CD by Heiko Laux and the first one on his own imprint Kanzleramt. The CD features 21 tracks by Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Damon Wild, Johannes Heil, Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Acid Scout, Steve Rachmad, Alexander Kowalski and many others. Heiko Laux´s first DJ-Mix-CD “Classic Open” was released in 1999 (mixed & recorded in 1998) through neuton, when Kanzleramt was still based in Bad Nauheim, close to Frankfurt. “Temp. Space” is the essence of about a hundred DJ sets which Heiko Laux played across the world in the last 2 years, touring for Kanzleramt, one of Germany´s best-known labels. The mix was recorded on harddisc in June 2002 in Heiko´s studio in Berlin using a Rodec mx180 (mk1) DJ Mixer, and 3x Technics 1210 turntables. The mix includes all his favourite layers of records, which naturally grew as he played them over and over for the last 2 years.
