Alexander Kowalski aka DisX3 , d_func, Mr. Discotheque and Double X, with several releases on Proton, BCC, Tresor, Surface, Konsequent, unGleich and – of course – Kanzleramt presents his first, for a long time overdue solo-album “Echoes”. 11 Tech-Dub-House tracks, rich in content + 1 Downbeat Bonus explain the Berlin bassline-magician`s world in a pictoral language, highliting with fantastic grooves. In the opposite to his rather technoid DJ-tool orientated DisX3, d_func and Double X productions, the Alexander Kowalski tracks on „Echoes“ are durably drifting towards expanding soundscapes. Being super-funky and proper for the dancefloor, they are settled in the bpm-sphere of deeper Tech-House-conglomerates.
