Release Description

“Me Fragments” is one of the best tracks from Diego´s recently released third solo album “Instant Reality” (ka85 CD/2xLP). The titel is loaded with countless ideas and melodies and is based on an incessantly changing arrangement. The new 12inch release of “Me Fragments” contains 4 brilliant remixes by Heiko Laux (kanzleramt), Soul Designer (F-Com) and 2 by Diego himself. The remix by Heiko Laux stripped the original version down to a more minimal heavy bass detroit-techno track with funky rhythm elements and nice chords. Mr. Soul Designer from Laurent Garnier´s F-Communication label delivered a groovy high-quality minimal-techno-tool with his typical arpeggio-sequences. The 2 remixes by Diego feature 2 different sides of his work. Whilst the a-side Remix #1 transmutes “Me Fragments” into an aggressive pumping techno smasher, the b-side Remix #2 features the catchy elements of the original version and creates a deep heartbreaker – excellent melodies + good vibe. The 12inch comes in a full-coloured cover, following the design of the album!
